Home Inspection Is A Wise Investment

Purchasing a home is typically the single largest investment you will ever make. To ensure you’re investment is protected it’s important to identify upfront any potential major structural or other potential damage which will likely involve expensive repair or maintenance. You wouldn’t buy a $3.00 carton of eggs without checking inside to make sure any of them are cracked. So why not ensure the $300,000 property you’re about to buy is also in good working order and structurally sound inside and out?

That’s why it’s so important to arrange for a home inspection before you make a big purchase. Simply defined, a home inspection involves the visual examination of a property from top to bottom. This would typically include an examination of the structure, walls, windows, doors, ceilings, floors and roofing along with electrical systems, air conditioning, heating, plumbing and insulation.

Avoid unseen costly repairs and expenses after the fact. For a typical fee of approx. $500 a home inspection is well worth the money and helps to preserve your investment from the start.
